(7) Setting Up Advertising Campaigns - Single and Multiple Keywords
To start setting up your campaign, from the Main Menu, select Advertising. Click Buy Credits>. Now, decide how many credits you want to add to your campaign. Let’s use 100 for our example. Just type 100 in the blank field and click the Transfer Credits button. After your credits are added click «« Back to “Your Campaigns” page.
Ok, let’s start by adding a Title. Try using some of the EXCELLENT WORDS & PHRASES FOR AD WRITING. This is an article that is included in the Ad Bank courtesy of Patrick Walters- DQ Recruiters Manager. Then add a Short Description, up to 300 characters. Then add your URL. I use a splash page URL because it loads fast and is a catchy summary of your program. You can learn about making splash pages in another section of this guide. Last thing you need to do is add some keywords or phrases. If you are setting up a campaign with single keywords or phrases then you have the option to have a different bid on each keyword. Using the multiple keyword option your bid will be the same for each keyword. Now, click Save Campaign> then «« Back to “Your Campaigns” page.
Now on this page you’ll see a listing of all the campaigns you have added. It shows you the ID, Type of campaign (single or multiple keywords), keywords and bid. There is also another category here that is called Action. If you have just added a new campaign, you need to click Start Campaign. Now your options are Stop Campaign, Edit Campaign, Delete and View Stats. I think these are self-explanatory. One last thing, you can see a Credit Balance for your Campaigns at the top of the page. This is good to be able to keep track of how many have been used and whether you need to add more.
Well, that wasn’t hard was it?! You have now created your first Ad Campaign and are able to add more or delete them as you see fit. Experiment with keywords and bids. Different wording can have a dramatic effect on any advertising.
Have Fun With It!
