Ok, let’s work on setting up another area in your account. Setting up your own online store! This is really a pretty easy thing to do and like the other areas, there are plenty of ways to experiment, get creative and customize it to make it yours!

From the Main Menu, click Shopping>

You’ll see it is divided into 28 categories. They are:

There is also another section titled E-Products and it is divided into 4 categories. They are:

• Audio [6]

• E-Books [87]

• Photos [3]

• Video [1]

Toward the top of the page you’ll see 5 options to choose from:

• View My Product/Services list

• Add a Product/Service

• Add a E-Product

• View Cart

• Shopping History

We are going to choose either add a Product/Service or Add a E-Product start with, depending on which type of product you want to add. We are going to put an E-book in here right now, so click Add an E-Product.

Fill in the blank fields. You are required to completely fill all fields. What I mean by that is, the field, Upload a file with product: requires you to include the file of the e-book that you are adding. In the other category (Add a Product/Service) it does not require you to do this. With the Short and Long Descriptions, I copy/paste the ad copy from the product itself when possible so I can use their words instead of my own. It’s easier, faster and most of the time (if you are like me when it comes to writing ads!) it sounds more professional. When adding keywords, try to use words that you find in the ad itself or the name and description of your product. Also think of any word or phrase you might use to search if you were to do a search and find your product. The only field that is not required when adding a product is uploading a photo but if you do include a photo it has to be a JPG or GIF file no more than 100kb. Ok, all through. Now click Save. Then click Back to Shopping Page.

Now that we have added our product, we want to make sure it looks good and is included in our store. Click View My Product/Services list. You’ll see your e-book that we added but it will say disabled. So click Setup and it will take you to a page where you can set the price either as a percentage or a flat fee. You can also check the box that says “enable affiliate program”. After you have made these choices click the «« Back to “View My Product/Services list” page option. Back on the View My Product/Services list page, change the “no” to “yes” to show this product in your store.

Well, that’s all there is to it! Now all you have to do is continue to add products to “grow” your inventory! You’ll notice the “link to your own shop” and you need to save this link with your other DQ URL’s (you have been saving them right?) to use to promote Your Own Store!
